Preys-World - Midway files for bankruptcy protection

Whilst Eidos is now officially out of the woods, sadly there was no rescue as yet for UTIII publishers Midway. The American side of the business filed for Bankruptcy protection and officially announced the move today in a press release. At the present time the European side of the business, despite the crazy currency fluctuations of last year, remains healthy.
Chapter 11 will buy the American office time to consider its options, but whilst there is money coming in from Europe, a spin-off or sell-off with the stock market remaining volatile would be a risky short-term move. If there are any changes to the health of the company we’ll let you know.
