Sonic Unleashed - Current Gen Versions Delayed

Whilst this latest incarnation in the Sonic franchise was originally set for a release tomorrow across all consoles, the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions have been pushed back leaving only the Playstation 2 and Wii to fly the blue spiked flag. Incorporating impressive graphics on a classic 2 dimensional plain mixed with 3 dimensional sections this new title seems to be a shining beacon of hope amongst the Sonic franchise, which many agree has failed to produce a top class game for a good few years now. Is it time Sonic hung up his super sneakers and gracefully took his seat in his arm chair next to the fire? Or could Sonic Unleashed breathe new life into the franchise and spark a string of highly memorable and successful games, just like the golden days? Xbox 360 owners will be able to find out on November 24th whilst PS3 owners wont be able to get in on the action until some time in December, a final date is yet to be established.
